|
|
The manifold and electrical controls are directly mounted into the cabinet on either end of
the hood. The manifold is configured based on the model chosen and includes main shutoff valve,
temperature and pressure gauge, ¾solenoid valves and a vacuum breaker. A surfactant tank,
surfactant pump and push to prime button will also be installed in the cabinet. All surfactant
injection shall be done after the vacuum breaker backflow prevention.
The piping and wiring are done at the factory to minimize labor at the job site. The water
inlet shall be a ¾ NPT pipefitting. The hood includes a drain with a 1 ½ NPT pipe, unless
the exhaust hood is over 10 long or 30 tall, in which case two drains shall be installed.
